On all Sundays and public holidays from Easter to November 1 the Ehrenburg comes to life. Visitors both young and old walk in the footsteps of the knights of Ehrenberg during an exciting castle tour or when shooting a bow and arrow or firing a catapult.
On certain Sundays and public holidays in the spring and autumn we celebrate our themed festivals at the Ehrenburg where adults and children alike are heartily invited to celebrate and dream with us at our Living Castle.
The silent Heinrich: Mediaeval mystery dinner Murder, mystery and a four-course dinner. Once again Father Anselmus investigates a case which marries faith and superstition, the real and the unreal.
Classic literature, ancient and contemporary music, drama and cabaret are regularly staged at our Culture Nights in the unique setting of the Ehrenburg.
A spring supper, fairytale feast, performers’ night or mediaeval banquet: at our four-course dinner theatre nights you benefit from two modes of entertainment: the culinary and the cultural.
In our jubilee year in 2011 we added a brunch to our programme of events. Our Ehrenburg Morning Repast serves visitors specialities from the castle buffet on certain Sundays of the year.
